Eagle Project Workday Completed at the Crush Hickory Creek Field

Austin Lavender of Troop 141 stands with troop members and friends in front of the newly constructed Crush field sign at the Hickory Creek field location. Austin finished his Eagle Project workday at the Hickory Creek field by constructing a Knoxville Crush field sign, 4 portable pressure treated 12 foot long benches for the teams, and painted the bridge over the creek with a special non-mildew non-skid material.

Austin said, “It’s a proud day for me and the Crush. I am really happy to dedicate my Eagle Project workday towards doing something positive that really makes a difference for the kids in the Crush and the community as a whole.”

Thank you to everyone in the Knoxville Crush Football Club, Troop 141, and to all of my friends for helping me with this critical Eagle Project workday.

I am blessed to have such amazing friends and family that I know I can count on in any situation. Without them, I would never be where I am now, and for that, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart.
