Crush 00’ Crossfire U13G, led by Coach Kable Nunnally, earned “Finalist” trophies this weekend in the FC Alliance Fall Classic, U13G Red Division.  Crossfire started the tournament with a tough battle against FC Alliance North 00G Gold that ended in a 1-1 tie.  Crossfire then played itself into the semi-final game with a resounding 5-1 victory in the nightcap contest versus FC Dallas TRI 00G Red.  In the early morning semi-final game, a dew-covered field slowed the pace of the game to that of a defensive struggle, but Crossfire was able to eke out a 1-0 win over LSC Lady Lightning.  The Championship Game against TSC Select ended in an unfortunate 1-0 loss, with stingy defense being displayed on both sides.  Crossfire has lost only a single game in tournament play thus far (Riverside Shootout and FC Alliance Fall Classic combined), and its tournament record this Fall stands at 4-1-2.  Congratulations Crossfire players and Coach Nunnally!
