Crush 00’ Crossfire’s players earned their medals in dramatic fashion with an overtime victory over Greeneville 00’ Galaxy Select in the Championship Game.  The two teams finished regulation play and two overtimes in a scoreless tie, setting up a heart-stopping series of PK’s that resulted in the win. Crossfire defeated Lexington (KY) Football Club U13G and Kolping (OH) U13G Elite on Saturday, setting the stage for two consecutive Sunday games with Greeneville.  Crossfire and Greeneville battled to a 2-2 tie in the Sunday morning game, and continued their closely-contested play into the Championship Game. After 150 minutes of regulation play and two overtimes on Sunday, the two teams were dead even, forcing PK’s to decide the outcome.
