Knox Crush Soccer Academy Ages 3-8 Years

WHAT WE DO

Our Academy league coaches teach children the preliminaries of competitive soccer, sportsmanship, and team play. We offer children the experience of playing on a team, while focusing on player development and fun. All our practices and games lay the foundation for competitive soccer in a relaxed atmosphere. To make sure our players stay fit and active year-round, we provide indoor sessions during the harsh winter. During the spring and fall, we take advantage of our outdoor fields.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We strive to instill a love of soccer. We will instruct your player on the fundamental skills necessary to develop as an athlete, teammate, and a soccer player. We want to see your child outgrow our program and move onto more challenging teams. We prepare your player for their next steps in soccer or other athletic endeavors.

CRUSHERS

This program is designed as an introductory program for players 3-8 years old for both those experienced and those also new to the game. Our coaches are engaged, enthusiastic and ready to have fun. They will provide the guidance for your player to learn the fundamentals promoting physical, psychological and social growth. Teaching proper technique, we hope your player can gain confidence, exercise and grow a love of the game like we have.

FUTURES

This program is designed for players on the path to competitive soccer. Our coaches for this program are licensed and specifically assigned to a team for both training sessions and games. They will have two practices a week and play games Saturdays in a league playing other club teams. If you feel your child might be ready for this program please contact our Academy Director.

ELIGIBLE PLAYERS

The Academy Crushers program is for boys and girls age 3 to 8. While Academy Futures program is for boys and girls age 7 to 8.

ACADEMY PROGRAM INFORMATION SPRING 2023

PRICE:

$90 for ages 3-4 (Practice & game combined. No Saturday games)
$135 for ages 5-6 (1 practice per week & Saturday games) ALL Games are at Bearden Adaptive(K.A.E.C.)
$185 for ages 7-8 CRUSHERS (2 practices per week at Lakeshore Park & Saturday games, locations vary). Contact phuffaker@knoxvillefc.org for more details regarding our FUTURES program

*** All 5-6 games are located at Bearden Adaptive ***

UNIFORMS:

3-6 year old players receive 1 T-shirt.
7-8 year olds receive 1 game jerseys.

WHAT TO BRING:

Players ages 3 to 6 years should bring a size 3 soccer ball for practices.
Players ages 7-8 should bring a size 4 soccer ball for practices.
All players should wear shin guards with long soccer socks that go over the shin guards
All players should bring water to drink during water breaks.
